Tired as they may hav to provide physical care slot of the day meaning they don’t get a lot of time to relax
Neglect themselves may effect their mental health

May miss out on education if their parent etc needs 24 hour care

This effects their education as they miss out
May not be able to concentrate as they worry about their parent
Emotional impact
May upset them seeing their parent in the way they are May be emotionally drained Depressed Lonely Low self esteem Neglect
Social impact
Won’t be able to socialise a lot because they have to look after parent
May lose friends
Socially isolated
Financial impacts
When the get older man not be able to work because of the 24 hour care they give to their parent meaning low income
May have to rely on benefits carers allowance

Fell behind in school
Too tired to concerntrate
Worried
May not go to school a lot because they look after parent
Employment barriers
May not be able to et a job because they can’t work a lot of hours as they need to care for parent

May have to work part time not as much money

Won’t be able to go out much due to constant care

May not get washed Etc themselves due to caring for parents do people bully them
