What does the Big Bang Theory mean?
The scientific theory which suggests that around 18 billion years ago a massive explosion led to the creation of the universe.
What does Conservation mean?
Ensuring that the Earth’s resources are preserved and not wasted. Putting back what is used.
What does Cosmology mean?
Theories about the origins of the universe.
What does Creationists mean?
People that believe that God created the universe in six day as stated in the Bible.
What does Domination mean?
To exercise power over a less powerful being.
What does Dominion mean?
To have power or authority over something.
What does Evolution mean?
The process by which humans and plant life have developed or evolved over a long period of time and adapted to the environment and climate.
What does Ex Nihilo mean?
To come out of nothing.
What does Intelligent Design mean?
The theory that life is so complex that it must have been designed by a higher intelligent being, and did not evolve by natural selection.
What does Myth mean?
A story that explains the origins of a natural phenomenon or the aspects of human behavior.
What does Natural Selection mean?
A process named by Charles Darwin in which over a long period of time while species changed, the strongest of the animals and plants survived while the weakest eventually died off.
What does Soul mean?
The part of a human that is separated from the physical body.
What does Steward mean?
Someone who takes responsibility for the care of something for someone else.
