A

Radical change in Henry’s doctrine and a clear step back towards Catholicism:
Confirmed Transubstantiation
Allowed private mass and confession to Priests
Banned marriage of priests

Included severe punishments for those who went against the Act
The Act became known as the “whip with six strings!”
