What happens in the Christian creation story?
On day one, God creates the day and night as well as light. On the second day God creates the sky and on the third day God creates the ground and land. On the fourth day God created the sun, Moon and stars. On the fifth day God creates animals and on the sixth day God creates man and woman.
What does an atheist believe?
God does not exist, so the creation story in genesis has now value at all.
What do literal Christians believe?
They believe that the Bible should be taken word for word so the creation story in genesis is true.
What do liberal Christians believe?
They believe that the bible is open to interpretation, so the details might not be true but the deeper meaning is.

The idea that God created the world using the Big Bang and evolution.

An incredibly dense singularity exploded and the gases that were given out cooled and became stars and planets.

If an arrow is fired at a target the it has purpose that the archer has given it as the arrow cannot move on its own.
What does the ‘arrow analogy’ have to do with creation stories?
It states that everything must have a purpose given by something so the world must have been created by God.
What is the cosmological argument?
That, because the universe exists, it must have been created by a cause which is God.
What is stewardship?
Humans are responsible for looking after the world and everything in it.
What is dominion?
God put humans in charge of everything in the world so we have control/power over what happens.
