What is a eycaryotic cell
an organism consisting of a cell or cells in which the genetic material is DNA in the form of chromosomes contained within a distinct nucleus.
What is a prokaryotic cell
A prokaryotic is a single-cell organism whose cell lacks a nucleus and other membrane-bound organelles
What is turgid
Turgid means swollen and hard. The pressure inside the cell rises, eventually the internal pressure of the cell is so high that no more water can enter the cell. This liquid or hydrostatic pressure works against osmosis.
What is flaccid
Describing plant tissue that has become soft and less rigid than normal because the cytoplasm within its cells has shrunk and contracted away from the cell walls through loss of water
How should you set up a graph
Use the right amount of space in the graph
How to calculate magnification
Do it then remember to put it I the format asked(cm M mm)
Why do leaves have a big surface area
So they can respirate faster
Do root hair cells have a large surface area
Yes
What stops plant cells from bursting
The cell wall
Why does a animal cell swell up
