A

The Lusitania was a ship that was heavily armed, but not a battleship. The German ship sank the Lusitania killing 128 Americans. It was the main reason why Woodrow Wilson decided to join the war.

Explain what the Zimmerman telegram was

A

A telegram sent by Germany to Mexico, suggesting that they invade America, and in return, they will gain back their lost land. Germany did this, so America would be too distracted to enter WWI. This increased the US is support for the Allied powers.
