People who had bought stocks on credit for now broke and the people who loaned out the credits could no longer make the money back.

A time in which the economy was greatly affected and there were hardly any jobs?

On to Ottawa Trek. Unemployed workers jumped on the railroads to protest in Ottawa.
Name two reasons why the German economy crashed when the American economy did? (2)
Americans could no longer by manufactured German goods
Americans could not loan money to the German government or German businesses trying to rebuild

The government should be run by the army and wealthy people

What is Fascism?
A military dictatorship. The leader of the state required absolute power and used fear tactics and secret police to keep that power Like Hitler they most of the time believed in one master race.
What is Anti-Semitism?
The persecution of Jewish people.
What are Nuremberg laws?
Laws that took away the citizenship and civil rights of all Jews.
Give an example of Nuremberg law. (2)
No Jewish person was allowed to have German citizenship
No Jewish person was allowed to have a sexual relationship with a non-Jewish German
What was Kristallnacht?
The night of the breaking of the glass. Or storm troopers stormed jewish businesses and homes. They killed 90 Jews that night and destroy the lives of so many others. This was their first event that led the path to holocaust and the persecution of Jews in Germany.
What major event signifies anti-Semitism in Canada?
St. Louis. This oceanliner carried 907 jewish people after going to many Latin American countries they turn to Canada in desperation for a safe haven. In the house of commons in which decide upon that the Jews would not be allowed to enter Canada.
What is another example of anti-Semitism in Canada?
In British Columbia and Saskatchewan Jewish people were not allowed to vote or be in public office.
