Economic:
Germany blocked Russia’s trade routes
Russia took loans from other countries increasing it’s debt
More money was printed to pay for the war causing inflation twice as fast as wages went up
Political:
The Duma at first supported the war but as it got worse the Duma blamed the Tsar’s ministers
The Tsar refused to share power with the Duma causing the Duma to become an opposition to the Tsar
