What was the Moroccan crisis ?

There were two crisis in Moracco triggered due the interests of France and Germany.

First Moroccan crisis was triggered in 1905-1906, due to France ambitions of annexing Morocco. Britain agreed in returned France agreed to recognize Britain’s position in Egypt. Germany intervened. In Algeciras Conference (1907) it was decided that France could not annex it entirely.

Second crisis was triggered when France annexed the Moroccan Capital in 1911; Treaty of Fuz, Germany agreed in return of 2 stips of territory in French Congo.

There were two Balkan wars before the WW1.

First Balkan war was triggered due to the Ottomans misrule in Macedonia. Italy attacked Tripoli, league was formed btw Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece & Montenegro. Ottomans were defeated; hence treaty of London(1913) in which Ottoman gave-up all its possessions in Europe except Constantinople.

Second was due to Serbia’s territorial ambitions in Albania.

Germany started war on two fronts with France and Russia; In Russia(Battle of Tannenberg) in France(Battle Of Marne). On Britain’s request Japan joined the war (Battle of Tsingtao). Italy joined triple antente. Use of chlorine gas, tanks, etc. German campaign in France(Battle Of Verdun, Battle Of Somme). Revolution in Russia. USA entry into the war.
