1. Place 200mL volumetric flask on balance and tare
2. Pipette ~5-8 grams of sample into flask and record
3. Fill volumetric flask up to line with DI water and mix well
4. Fill 300mL beaker with 145mL of DI water
5. Transfer 5mL of diluted caustic into 300mL beaker of DI water
6. Load 300mL beaker onto carousel and run. Make sure 0.1N Hydrochloric acid exchange unit is in place
