A

the violence was target ti Private property which was done to convince that the public orderly life could not continue while women were excluded from politics

they also targeted Herbert Asquith. he was assaulted on a golf course, slates were thrown at his car and there was the fear that he would be assassinated.

force feedings had become a great propaganda coup and had drawn in many supporters as people began to sympathise for women.
