Q

Anesthetic considerations for anterior mediastinal mass removal?

A

1) local if possible

If general anesthesia is required:

1) , spontaneous ventilation should be maintained.
2) If paralysis is required, confirmation of ability to ventilate and oxygenate must occur first and only small doses of a short acting muscle relaxant should be used
