A

A

They have objects that receive an action of the verb, they answer what questions

A

A group of words that contain a subject and a verb, sentences that can stand alone are independent

A

A

A

It means in relation to other things, sounding out sentences does it make sense when hearing it.

Ex: Instead of saying getting married AT washington you say you got married IN

THAT and WHICH refer to things, WHO refers to people
Wrong: Sally is the assistant THAT works in my mothers office
Right: Sally is the assistant who works in my mothers office

A

By making sure that the meaning of the sentence is still there, not changing the total meaning of the sentence
looking for run on sentences and knowing where there needs to be a pause when reading
