Usually broad topics, arguments shouldn´t be solely based on personal preferences

Focus neither on pro or con ONLY

- Preference
Questions are personal in nature
I prefer to... To me, XYZ is far preferable to ABC... I prefer XYZ to/ over ABC I would rather ... (V + O) then ... I would choose XYZ
- If / Imaginary
Hypothetical Questions: Use “would” and “could” rather than “will” / “can”
Use Type 2 conditionals:
If + Subject + simple past, Subject + would/ could/ might + verb
Example:
“If you could study a subject, what would you choose?”
“If I were given the opportunity to study anything that I have previously not studied, I would pursue knowledge in the field of electrical engineering”
- Description or Explanation
Talk about specifics, e.g. when talking about a person, use traits.
Otherwise, vocab is the same as Agree / Disagree:
