Friction Wrist
A
- Most commonly used
- Friction is adjusted to prevent TD rotation, but not so tight that Pt can’t move it
- can be used for all levels but great for WD amps

A
- constant friction is achieved by nylon threaded insert placed against the stud of the terminal device
- round and oval styles available

A
-designed to facilitate rapid interchange of different terminal devices

Flexion wrist
A
- allows for multiple degrees of wrist flexion
- neutral, 30, 50 degrees
- great for bilateral patients

- used in conjunction with the friction wrist
- whole unit has rotation
- neutral, 25, 50 degrees
