20
Q

Queries

A

marginal, vague, incomplete, unclear, or generalized response. Tell me more, Explain what you mean.

21
Q

Prompts

A

used to teach or remind child of task > only mark one bug

22
Q

Repetitions

A

Instructions can be repeated as often as requested. Best practice to repeat after 5-10 seconds if no response. Do not stop timer.

23
Q

Recording Responses

A

Q, P, R, DK, NR

24
Q

Information

A

Child answers questions about general knowledge topics. Verbal Comprehension. Discontinue 3.

25
Q

Similarities

A

Child identifies how two pictures or words are similar. Verbal Comprehension. Discontinue 3. Possible scores of 0 1 2 for verbal items.

26
Q

Block Design

A

Timed (30-90 sec). Child views model/picture to recreate design in block. Record and correct degree rotation for part A, correct again in part b, but it’s wrong. (30 degrees). Gaps and misalignments need to be greater than 1/4 inch. Visual Spatial. Discontinue 2.

27
Q

Object Assembly

A

Child assembles the pieces of a puzzle to create a representation of an identified object. Timed - 90 seconds. 12 and 13 half points - round up.
Rows of three. Visual Spatial. Discontinue 2.

28
Q

Matrix Reasoning

A

Child selects picture that completes the matrix. Fluid Reasoning. Discontinue 3.

29
Q

Picture Concepts

A

Child is presented with two or three rows of pictures and selects one picture from each row to form a group with a common characteristic. Fluid Reasoning. Discontinue 3.

30
Q

Picture Memory

A

The child views a stimulus page of pictures for a specified time and then selects these pictures from options on a response page. Expose 3-5 sec. Working Memory.

31
Q

Zoo Locations

A

The child views animal cards on a zoo layout for a specified time, and then places each card in the previously viewed location. 3-5 sec exposure. Working Memory. 2 discontinue.

32
Q

Bug Search

A

Examiner needs to turn page. Similar to symbol search. Timed (120 sec). The child marks the bug in the search group that matches the target bug. Need to practice dauber first. Points off for wrong mark. Processing Speed.

33
Q

Cancellation

A

Timed (45 sec for each item). Child scans two arrangements of objects (one random, one structured) and marks target objects. Examiner turns pages. Loses points for marks on a non-target. Processing Speed.

34
Q
