What are the four stages of secondary wound healing?
A
Heamostasis causing vasoconstriction of blood vessels to stop bleeding
Inflammation to increase blood flow and neutrophils lymphocytes and macrophages to prevent infection
Proliferation increase of growth hormones to increase cell division and create granulated tissue
Maturation the regeneration of tissue so it goes back to normal with scar tissue left over
