Yes, and they can catch up at their own pace.
How does timing of Reform services differ to Orthodox services?
Services are shorter, more rigidly structured. There is a set time and worshippers are usually present at the start.
What do Jewish men and women wear during services?
Men wear skull caps and women wear scarfs/hats.
Is singing in Orthodox or Reform services accompanied?
Reform.

Tallit, Tefillin.
What is a tallit?
A shawl made from wool/silk.
What is the significance of the tallit?
-The shawl reminds Jews that they are obeying God’s
word when they wear it.
-The tassels represent the mitzvot.
What is tefillin?
- A pair of small leather boxes containing extracts from the Torah, including some words from the Shema.
- One is fastened with leather straps to the centre of the forehead, the other is wound around the upper arm in line with the heart.
