•Taenia solium:pork tapeworm ,causes intestinal tapeworm(praziquantel),
neurocysticercosis(bendazole)

•Taenia saginata:beef tapeworm causes
Intestinal tapeworm (praziquantel)

•Diphylobatrium latum: fish tapeworm
Causes b12 deficiency and intestinal tapeworm (proziquentel)

•Echinococus granulosus :dog tapeworm affects liver ,lung and brain =hydration cysts(bendazole and surgical cyst removal)

Snail fever ,katayama fever, bilharziasis
Chronic parasitic disease caused by blood flukes ( trematodes) of the genus schistosoma transmitted to humans through snails

•Schistosoma mansoni (lateral spine) Intestine

•Schistosoma japonicum(minutely spine) Intestine

Schistosoma intercalatum (terminal)

•Fishing in infested water
•Washing of clothes in infested water bodies

CLINICAL FEATURES
•Low grade fever
•Weight loss
•Fatigue
•Anemia
*Intestinal: abd pain, diarrhea , liver enlarged
*Urogenital: terminal hematuria , dysuria
*Females : genital lesions , vaginal bleed
