In March of 1917, they removed the autocratic czar of Russia
Stalemate
September 1914, the war reached a stalemate, a situation in which neither side in a conflict is able to gain the advantage. French and British halted German advances in Paris.

The US economy was strong because they sold liberty war bonds in the war, and many countries owe them money. The US was the largest creditor.

In June, 1919, it was signed. In November, congress didn’t want it to be ratified.
In May 20, 1920, US declared war over. Broke treaties with Austria, Hungary, and Germany. They didn’t join League of Nations
