Militarism is the competition between nations for the most powerful army or navy.
How did a soldier develop trench foot?
The men in the trenches in Europe during autumn and winter were always wet. They would always be walking in mud and water. Their feet don’t dry out and begin to rot.
What can happen if the soldiers developed trench foot?
The soldiers would be in some serious pain and their feet would rot. The trench foot conditions could get so bad that the person could lose their feet.
