A

Mo money, mo land; Discounts, more maternity leave; Reduces strain on food supply. Eased overpopulation. With fewer children to support, parents have more money to spend on other things and women can have careers. Mothers and babies are healthier in smaller families.

A

Unmarried men had difficulty finding a wife if they weren’t educated and had money. Fewer children to care for older family members. Some female babies are abandoned. The one policy was unequally enforced.

A

They were punishing the US for supporting Israeli in the Egypt Syria Conflict. An embargo is a ban on selling to someone. Because they wouldn’t sell the US oil, we had higher prices here and shortages or gasoline and heating oil.
