Q

+ Kf case study

A

By Shallice and Warrington, KF involved in bike accident damaged his stm but visual processing intact. Implies two stores.
BUT findings are based on case strides. Limitation as they are unique snd therefore must generalise with care

Q

Support from brain scans

A

PET scans are used to look at brain to see which are activated with which tasks. Diff areas of brain were activated when performing visual verbal tasks. Supports the notion there is 2 stores. BUT lab experiment, high levels of control and reliability but artificial stimuli. Means research lacks external validity and mundane realism.
