A

pps who carried out 1 visual and verbal task simultaneously has similar performance to when tasks done seperately
-when tasks were 2 verbal and 2 visual, performance declined
-Shows must be seperate subsystems as perf lowere when competition in same store

Baddeley said himself that the CE is the most important but least understood
-May have different subcomponents itself
