Forced to take on harder work and more responsibly as the number grow to a million
The roles of women throughout history
Women’s work has adapted throughout history from simple at the home, the the factories, then the mines, then digital era and finally the environment.
Highlight how women have been made to adapt to a developing society meanwhile maintaining the home and caring for children meaning their responsibilities over the years have increased.

Duality to women’s roles- work and being a mother
Women’s work doesn’t stop
Modern day they have a job, then mothers then grandmothers and then great grandmothers and can’t survive the pressure as they are never left to rest

Blanche’s demise is her lies and decietfullness as she hasn’t experienced the burden of motherhood.
