The boys began to learn Latin and go to school but girls stayed at home and learned household skills
Why were there only man painters and doctors etc
Because they believed women’s roll was to be a housekeeper and a good mother
What were women forbidden to do
They were forbidden to go to universities. So most women didn’t learn how to read or write.

She was Italian and she drew women is most of her work because it was difficult for female artists to draw man as they were forbidden to study the male nude.

She was Dutch. She painted still life and domestic scenes. Until the twentieth century people thought her paintings were painted by a man
