Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body. But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything.

1 Timothy 2:9-15
Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments, but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim to godliness. A woman must quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve. And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. But women will be preserved through the bearing of children if they continue in faith and love and sanctity with self-restraint.
En cuanto a las mujeres, quiero que ellas se vistan decorosamente, con modestia y recato, sin peinados ostentosos, ni oro, ni perlas ni vestidos costosos. Que se adornen más bien con buenas obras, como corresponde a mujeres que profesan servir a Dios.
La mujer debe aprender con serenidad, con toda sumisión. No permito que la mujer enseñe al hombre y ejerza autoridad sobre él; debe mantenerse ecuánime. Porque primero fue formado Adán, y Eva después. Además, no fue Adán el engañado, sino la mujer; y ella, una vez engañada, incurrió en pecado. Pero la mujer se salvará siendo madre y permaneciendo con sensatez en la fe, el amor y la santidad.
1 Corinthians 14:34
The women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says. If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church.
Como es costumbre en las congregaciones de los creyentes, las mujeres guarden silencio en la iglesia, pues no les está permitido hablar. Que estén sumisas, como lo establece la ley. Si quieren saber algo, que se lo pregunten en casa a sus esposos; porque no está bien visto que una mujer hable en la iglesia.

On the notion of abortion: the bible orders the death penalty for murder of a human being, but not for the expulsion of a fetus.
And if men strive together, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart, and yet no harm follow; he shall be surely fined, according as the woman’s husband shall lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. But if any harm follow, then thou shalt give life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.
Sobre la idea del aborto: la biblia ordena la pena de muerte para un ser humano, pero no para expulsión de un feto.
Si en una riña los contendientes golpean a una mujer encinta, y la hacen abortar, pero sin poner en peligro su vida, se les impondrá la multa que el marido de la mujer exija y que en justicia le corresponda. Si se pone en peligro la vida de la mujer, esta será la indemnización: vida por vida, ojo por ojo, diente por diente, mano por mano, pie por pie, quemadura por quemadura, golpe por golpe, herida por herida.
