A

► Write in full – avoid initialisms, acronyms or any other abbreviation
► Print all text – especially drug names
► Use generic drug names – not brands
► Use words or Hindu-Arabic numbers i.e. one, two or 1, 2
► Use metric units e.g. gram or millilitre
► Use leading zeros for doses less than 1 e.g. 0.5ml, don’t use trailing zeros e.g. 5.0ml

means drug/drug interactions get monitored better, and theres more documentation of their medications, and more counselling to the patient

its not mandatory but you can do it
