What type of Law does health and safety take components from
Both criminal law (gulity verdict in an accident) and civil lay (situation can look at negiligence)
What will happen to coal in the future
coal will be phased out one day expected to be phased out in 20 to 30 year as there is a huge amount exported for manufacturing overseas. Coking coal will be around for a lot longer as it is still needed and any steel made from other means can be 3x the cost. Developing countries are needing the steel to be cheaper.

What is the sharp end - blind end concept
Sharp end is where the manager sits and blind end is where the employees/workers are. Australian legislation references a lot of risk management and risk assessment.

MDG’s are something the government prescribes and is enforced by the mine (MDG = Mine development guidelines)
