O: Anterior belly (digastric fossa), Posterior belly (mastoid process)
I: Tendon bw 2 bellies to body of hyoid bone
A: Elevates hyoid bone and depresses mandible
N: Mylohyoid nerve
Mylohyoid (Suprahyoid)
O: Mylohyoid line on mandible
I: Body of hyoid bone
A: Support and elevation of floor of mouth; elevation of hyoid
N: Mylohyoid nerve
Geniohyoid (suprahyoid)
O: Inferior mental spine
I: Body of hyoid bone
A: Fixation of mandible; pulls mandible inward

A: draws larynx (thyroid cartilage downward)

Platysma
O: Infra and supraclavicular regions
I: Base of mandible; skin of cheek & angle of mouth
A: draws lateral angle of lips downward, protection of superficial venous drainage/vessels
