My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline or be weary of his reproof, for the Lord reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights.

Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure.
Proverbs 6:32-35
He who commits adultery lacks sense; he who does it destroys himself. He will get wounds and dishonour, and his disgrace will not be wiped away. Proverbs 6:23
For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life.
