Answer 1

Drop off/weakening of wireless signal the further from the antenna. To counter this you can increase the power output on the WAP or use a different antenna with HIGHER GAIN (more concentrated signal in a particular direction) like a yagi antenna.

Use a wifi analyser software to create wireless heat map to figure out where the optimal place is for WAP’s and what are the best channels to use to avoid interference.

What does a wireless mesh configuration network require for seamless roaming between AP’s?

Answer 2

Seamless roaming between AP’s in a mesh configuration requires that all devices have identical configurations others users can be dropped completely when roaming to a different config AP.

Must all have same ESSID.
