- Frost on the engine exterior surfaces (but NOT snow and ice. This has to be removed with hot-air or fluid)
How should fan blade ice be removed when encountered during the walk around?
Call MOC for guidance. Normally and engineer should do this with hot air

From the start of fluid spraying

What is the best way to do this?
Keep the flaps up. Select the flaps just prior to take off to avoid contamination of the mechanisms
Hold the BEFORE TO checklist at FLAP SETTING and finish it after extending the flaps/slats
