Q

What is a Pre-Take Off Contamination Check (WING CHECK)

A

If the HOT has been exceeded the flight crew may do a WING CHECK from the cabin to check if the fluid is still effective (glossy, smooth and wet)

If negative (precipitation adhering to the A/C or fluid has become in-effective (murky)) take off is prohibited and de-icing and anti-icing must be done again
