Upon completing oenological studies spent time in Bordeaux, Piedmont, Ribera Del Duero, and Australia. Blend of several different vineyard sites, fermented in stainless steel, spent four mos on fine lees.

Plot is in rain shadow of Sierra de Cantabrias. Saul’s first attempt at making an unoaked 100% garnacha from his estate. Two very calcareous plots planted in 1990 and 1995 were used. Fermented in concrete and aged in concrete for 1 year. This wine is produced without the addition of any SO2 and with biodynamic viticulture. Intense fruit and finesse in the tannins.
