PF Windshear Escape Maneuver

A
  • AP & AT - OFF
  • TO/GA - Press
  • Max Thrust
  • Wings Level & 15 degrees initial Pitch
  • Follow F/D guidance
  • Retract Speed Brakes
  • Do not change Flaps / Gear until out of WS
  • Monitor VVI and Altitude
  • Do not attempt to regain lost airspeed until out of WS

  • Ensure Max Thrust
  • At VR but NLT 2,000’ remaining initiate normal rotation towards 15 degrees even if airspeed is low
  • Once airborne, perform WS Escape Maneuver
