Will Wood
This is my presentation about Will Wood my favorite music artist
His genre changes from song to song
Every song he creates feels different, its refreshing and keeps me hooked on his music
He doesn’t stick to rules in his music
what i mean by this is that he never quite stays with a song structure, he experiments and uses unconventional methods. This inspires me to constantly try new things, so i don’t feel stuck in a box of my own making.
His shows
He’s actually on tour right now! however i cannot attend because not only is he in america but also all of his shows are either 18/21+. Why do I still mention them? Because he does something really interesting with them, instead of only performing music will wood often uses storytelling and comedy in his shows. His style of playing the piano is also quite the show, smashing the keyboard with his foot and doing all sorts of crazy things.
His personality
This ties into the shows a bit too, but he’s a very accepting person and is very vocal about mental health and a strong advocate for helping others. He’s also a very kind man, despite often saying his fans scare him hes always shown being nothing but friendly to anyone who doesn’t overstep his boundaries.
He has three pet rats
I think the rat in this picture is snooter man but it could be bastard, im not sure.
Albums
EIAL and Self-ish were made with his former band “Will Wood and the Tapeworms”
Tna and icimi were made under simply will wood but i believe that former band members such as Mario conte the drummer still played for the albums.
What has he done?
Will Wood was diagnosed with BPD (bipolar disorder) early on in his career but also had a huge self improvement journey, now according to his own words
“I’ve gotten a lot better. I want to try and do something to help others get there.”
