44.8% (45) males - committed at least 1 crime 30.6% (31) females- committed at least 1 crime 9.8% males- committed a serious crime of theft 3.8% females- committed a serious crime of theft One in 8 offenders - reported to or caught by the police for their last committed crime
Explanatory factors
The study covers a wide range of factors that may pre-dispose to criminality activity: 5 factors (other Qs) Youths with many individual risk factors offend frequently, while youth with many individual protective factors rarely offend Youth were the most important; individual characteristics + the way they lived lives, which strongly affected their involvement in crime

The findings suggest the presence of 3 groups of adolescent of offenders 1. Propensity - induced = youth have an enduring propensity to offend 2. Lifestyle dependent = this group highly depends on lifestyle
