what happened to the debt in germany during WW1
germany found themselves 100 billion more marks in dept from before this means they were 50 million marks at the start of ww1 however by the end was 150 billion marks in debt

german workers found themselves getting paid 60% from their usual pay in 1913 while big armenents business ownders were getting more money due to the war leading workers to resent them
what else happened to the economy inflation
because germany was in debt due to the war and also funding the country they decdied to print more money leading to an inflation making everything more expensive for the people

a member of the SDP (social democratic party) phillip schneidemann declared a new german rebublic and the leader of the SDP fredrich ebert became the leader of the new german rebublic
wha did ebert do when he became the new leader of the german rebublic
fredrich ebert created a goverment known as the council of peoples representative so the people can feel recongised until new elections were held in 01/1919

ebert admitted defeat and signed the peace treaty in versaille
how did german politicians in the peoples representative gain the name november criminals
throughout WW1 the german people were told they were winning so to hear that ebert admitted defeat felt like a betrayer hence the name of november criminals
what happened after the signing of the treaty
politicans who signed the treaty were now known as the november criminals and massive rebellions and so forth took place in berlin
why was the new goverment known as the weimar rebublic
this was because after te signing of the rtreaty of versaile there was a massive uprour happening all throughout berlin so politicans packed all their stuff up and moved to weimar to set up a new goverment
