King Tut:

Hatshepsut:
-Egypt experienced a long period of peace under this pharaoh’s reign.
-Commissioned the construction of hundreds of buildings and a temple.
-Most traces of her, such as the heads on statues, were destroyed by her stepson when he became the pharaoh.
Ramses II:
-Considered one of the most powerful pharaohs of ancient Egypt because of being a military genius and building many temples including Abu Simbel.
Akhenaten:
-Only allowed Egyptians to worship one god named Aten.
-His wife was Nefertiti and considered his co-regent.
Thutmose III:
-Known for his military leadership and for creating the largest empire in Egyptian history.
Cleopatra:
-Last ruler of the Ptolemaic dynasty in Egypt.
-Known for ending her life when she thought that she would be defeated by Rome.
