How does an MLA become elected
From each constituency, the people vote for a representative.
This representative becomes the mla for that constituency

When a political party wins more than half the number of constituencies in the state.

1)After the election, the mla’s of the ruling party will elect a leader
2) This leader is the Chief Minister. He is the head of the govt.
3) The Chief Minister selects MLA’s to become minister

4) The chief minister and other ministers form a cabinet
5) Each minister is in charge of their department

It is the building where all the MLAs, whether from the ruling party or from the opposition meet to discuss various things

1)When a party gets voted into power ( they gain the majority), they elect a leader who becomes the cheif minister.
2)The governer choses some mla’s from the ruling party as ministers, on the advice of the chief minister.

5) Hence some mla’s from the ruling party become ministers, but not all the mla’s that are voted become ministers
