Bad flowering. July hail reduced yields. Harvest was early and chaptalization was needed. Later pickings affected by botrytis. Beaune leaner. Maconnais:reduced yields. Chablis lost 1/3 T flowering. bon millesime

Poor weather. x2 hail in CdB in June, wet, cool July with mildew followed by hail in Aug. Chablis: reduced yield due to frost. CCha did well but Montagny had hail. Bad flowering in Macon. Aside from this, a good year but with a smaller amount of wine produced. grand millesime

Early flowering with an early harvest (end of Aug), Chablis picked later in Sept. CCha had hail in July; Maconnais had warm Aug with early harvest led to soft wines. Slightly larger crop than 2010 and 2009. tres bon millesime

difficulties during flowering led to reduced yields; cool damp summer led to harvest in mid-late September; some hail in Meursault; great Chablis vintage; high acid year, good for Corton Char. grand millesime

warm spring, early flowering; lower acid year meant some flabby wines, but mostly crowd

Premature oxidation, often found in otherwise ageworthy wines. Particularly in recent white burg vintages of the late 90s: 96,97,98 through 2002
