Whisky regulation

A
  • DISTILLATION of a mash made from MALTED CEREALS w or w/out whole grains of other cereal
  • Fermented by the action of yeast
  • saccharified by diastase
  • one or more distillation at less than 94,8% vol -> distillate has aroma and cast from the RAW MATERIALS used
  • MATURATION (final distillate) at least 3 YEARS in wooden casks not exceeding 700 liters capacity
  • Final distillate
    + Min 40%ABV
    + No addition of alcohol, diluted
    + not be SWEETENED/ FLAVOURED, contain additives (except caramel)
