House of Lords - nobody is elected, contains all CofE bishops and there are 92 inheritable peerages. House of Commons - all elected in their constituency of around 90k voters, contains 650 mps and they vote on laws.
What effect can the House of Lords have on laws?
They can delay but not prevent them being passed.
What does the phrase “parliamentary sovereignty” mean?
The final decision on a law is always Parliaments to make.

The Prime minister and it’s Cabinet of 23 chosen ministers
