Disc Brakes
A
Operated by toe brakes on the pedals
Can provide differential braking

Master Cylinder
A
On each brake
Contains hydraulic fluid which transmits pressure to the slave cylinder when used

Slave Cylinder
A
Close the brake pads onto the disc, creating friction to slow the rotation of the wheel

Fluid Reservoir
A
Keeps the master cylinder full, preventing air from entering the system

Air in the Brake System
A
Brake pedal will feel spongy
Brakes will be less effective

System Leakage
A
Lose fluid
Normal resistance, however will slowly depress as the fluid leaks out
Air will eventually be sucked in to the system as the fluid is lost
