What is Research? Flashcards
What is Basic/Pure Research
Aims to solve problems and contribute to theory and knowledge
What is Applied Research?
Helps solve a current problem in a specific circumstance

-Observation
-Collecting Data
-planned study
Non- empirical Research
-Re-analysis
-Litreture review
-Comparing studies

Validity
Accuracy and the truth of data produced
Triangulation
The use of a variety of source methods to examine and analyse a specific phenomenon for accuracy
