Is the study of human culture and evolutionary aspects of human biology. What has changed over time, in a holistic sense.
Define Cultural Anthropology
The study of the customs, ideas, and behaviours of contemporary cultures.
What is Culture?
The strategy by which humans adapt to the natural environment. The customary ways ways of thinking and behaving of a particular population or society. Culture is learned, not biologically determined.
Define Primatology
The study of primates, especially behaviour. Humans share many characteristics with non-human primates.

The comparative study of patterns in contemporary cultures.

Collecting information about a specific culture through fieldwork.
