NV requires that when a lawyer knows the identity of the opposing party lawyer, that lawyer should not take advantage of the opposing lawyer by causing any default or dismissal without first inquiry about the opposing lawyers intent to produce.

A lawyer may sell or purchase a law practice in NV including good will as long as:
1) Seller ceases to engages in practice of law in this jurisdiction in geo area where the practice was Conducted for a reasonable period of time, but no case less than 6 months
2) the entire practice was sold.
3) Fee charged to client cannot increase.
4) Written notice given to each client with notice delivered by certified mail or personally and specifics among other things, the client right to get another lawyer or take your file back.
