My name is Thomas, I’m a philosophy graduate who has experience with stocking, policy assurance, and costumer service.
Why are you interested in working as a stock associate at a furniture store?
In the past I’ve found myself comfortable with stocking work. so I think I could be happy working here. I also enjoy simple, routine tasks.
What do you know about our company and the products we offer?
West Elm was founded in 2002, Borklyn, New York. It offers quality home furnishings in locations throughout the untied states.
How do you prioritize tasks when you have multiple responsibilities
I tend to break down task based on urgency, and how they will effect my fellow employees.
Describe a time when you had to work under pressure. How did you handle it?
During my time at Pender Pet Retreat, I would often have to move quickly between various states of cleaning the dogs kneels to ensure they were well cared for.
How comfortable are you with lifting heavy items, and do you have experience with it?
Yes, I have moved around heavy warehouse supplies in the past and am quite comfortable with it.
How would you ensure the safe handling and storage of furniture items?
Not sure
What steps would you take if you noticed a damaged item during unloading or stocking?
Report it to my supervisor after my work was done.
Can you describe your experience with inventory management systems?
I often had to support emergency supplies during my time with Fairfax County.
How do you maintain organization in a stockroom with many different items?
I’ve maintained a warehouse full of emergency supplies.

I tend to do well with repetitive tasks, it becomes habit. Still always take a moment to double check your work.
