what is the role of the PT
promote wellness in clinical practice, research, advocacy and collaborative consultation, to other adult pts/clients
wellness program for aerobic activity
mod intensity 30min, 5x week
OR
vig intensity 20min, 3x week
wellness program for muscle strengthening
min 2 days/wk, non-consecutive
8-10 diff exercises, 10-15 reps, mod to high effort
wellness program for flexibility
2 days/wk for at least 10 mins
wellness program for balance
perform based on impairments
